ABOUT

My name is Cortnee Morris. I live in Castle Rock, Colorado and I was born in Littleton, Colorado. I have lived in Castle Rock my whole life. My family consists of my dad, my mom, and my two sisters. I have a 21 year old sister named Kiera and a 10 year old sister named Emilee. Emilee and I were both born in December. Both my sisters and I were born in Littleton, in the same hospital. I was born in 2001. My favorite color is red, my favorite animal is a wolf, specifically a black wolf. My favorite band is My Chemical Romance. I mostly listen to Alternative Rock, but I do listen to One Direction and a little bit of country. I was born listening to mostly country, but as I got older, my interest in music has changed dramatically. When I was 8, I went to my first Taylor Swift concert at Cheyenne Frontier Days in 2009. That's also when I got to go backstage and meet her. After I turned 13, I decided to start looking at different kinds of music. I decided this because Kiera listened to some Alternative music and I really liked it. When I met my best friend Courtney Hajde, who just happened to be the cousin of one of my best friends from 6th grade Cole Hajde, I soon found out she only listened to country, she never listened to Alternative Rock so I pretty much gave up on looking for a good band. Then I met my friend Keely Moffitt. She introduced me to My Chemical Romance, and that's when I started listening to and/or looking for good Alternative Rock bands. The first song by them I heard was called "Teenagers". I really liked it so I started looking into their other songs, soon I started listening to them very often. Soon after I started looking into them, I found out that they are no longer a band, they "broke up" in 2013, with their last album "Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys" in 2010. My favorite album by My Chemical Romance is "The Black Parade" (2006).
